We made it safely back from Vegas! It is great to be home. We didn’t gamble away our life savings, get crushed in a mad mob of wedding photographers, and our brains didn’t explode from over-stimulation. So we consider our trip a success!
All kidding aside, we returned home feeling excited and inspired about our business and where we can take it. During our time at WPPI, we learned about lighting, posing, photographic technique, marketing, branding, new equipment and technology, and plenty of other things. One thing we heard over and over from different speakers – as we sat in crowd of thousands of other photographers – was the importance of setting yourself apart from the competition. As we move into another season of weddings in just a few months, I’m excited to begin to refine our style and our business identity. I’m excited for us to be uniquely US, and to present ourselves honestly and candidly. I’m eager to meet new people and build new relationships, to improve our art and increase our confidence in our abilities. Most of all, we want to thrive because we are living in a way that honors God, and using the gifts he has given us for his purpose. In our lives, careers, business, relationships, everything.
Anyway, we are also excited about some new equipment we will be investing in and some of the new things we’ll be offering our clients! We’ll reveal more of that soon! Enjoy a few shots from our time in Glitter Gulch. WOOT!
