Biz + Justin’s Denver Engagement Session

We don’t seem to get a lot of legitimately rainy days here in Colorado – we get our fair share of come-and-go afternoon storms, but for the most part it’s beautiful, bright and shiny. The day of Biz & Justin’s shoot, however, was overcast and rainy. Normally, we might have rescheduled, but since we are leaving for Nicaragua next Saturday and Justin was leaving for Georgia the next day, we didn’t exactly have that luxury. So, what do we do? We shoot in the rain, of course!

We actually decided to move the shoot to the DCPA, where they also happen to be getting married in January (at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House).  There are lots of fun places to shoot and some shelter from the rain. We had a great time walking around, going up elevators and down stairs and doing our best to capture them in their natural element. We have the best clients, and Biz and Justin were no exception. They are so natural together, relaxed and comfortable, (not to mention beeeautiful!) and it shows.

Even though we just met these two, we have a really good feeling about them.  At the start of the session we asked if they were ready for action, and Justin made a simple, subtle, but really sweet comment about how he wasn’t worried because he knew Biz was going to make the pictures look good. :)  What do you think?

Thansk again Biz & Justin, and we hope you enjoy the photos!

They made it easy on us! Also love this shot.

Rainy evening in the city…so romantic.
