…You know you want to belt this out with me, so go right ahead! The other people in the coffee shop won’t mind, I promise…yeehaw!

OK, now on to today’s business:  Tim & Joani.  I’m sitting here in our office (also known as the Command Center) back here in Boulder, Colorado, and as I’m watching Laura  flip through the images for this blog post of Tim & Joani’s wedding (on Command Center Screen #2), I’m getting excited. I grew up in a small town outside of Tulsa, and getting to come back to the area and hang out with beloved friends and shoot such a fun wedding was awesome.  My BF4LS (best friend fo’ life, suckas!), Todd, is Tim’s sister Hannah’s husband, got that? OK good. Anyway, we had a blast shooting in the warm, lush, springtime weather, especially since it snowed back here that weekend.  Let’s not get started on the springtime snow…

Their wedding and reception were held at Camp Loughridge, which is beautiful this time of year with everything in bloom. On wedding day Tim and Joani were incredible: relaxed, happy, flexible, and present in the moment, which is definitely the way to approach the big day!  It also made everything easy on us, and their photogenic, beautiful faces were an added bonus of course.  These two kids are so loved by the people in their lives, and their happiness and genuine love for each other was so fun to observe and document.  Thank you, Tim and Joani for bringing us down to shoot your wedding!!

One of our favorite “first look” experiences…total joy and such a sweet moment:

They’re so natural and perfect together:

Innocence.  The cutie on the right is previously mentioned BF4LS Todd and Hannah’s precious Emarie.  So much could be said and gushed about Emarie, how incredibly amazing and fun and adorable and smart and hilarious and spunky she is…but this post is for Tim and Joani, so we’ll leave it at that.  (ps Laura is writing these captions…Travis doesn’t exactly “gush,” he’s a man after all):

Joani has style.  Love her color choices and wait till you see some of her completely rad DIY details…

The chapel was so quaint and bright, set in the woods overlooking a lake. Something about this photo is…like a story captured in a single frame.  I don’t have the right words, but I know that when I saw it I immediately loved it, and recognized her expression as representing an emotion that I feel like every bride experiences as she walks down the aisle.

Check it out, and future brides take note…Joani put together some amazingly sweet, vintage, stylish details on a budget.  I for one absolutely loved it all and was thoroughly impressed with her creativity and resourcefulness!

Through the lavender cloud and towards their future they march!  Congrats Tim and Joani! We hope you enjoy these and treasure them throughout your marriage!!
