Jessica & Matt: TEASER!

OK bloggies, we’re excited. I’ll just start there. Not only are Jessica and Matt (er, Truck) two of the coolest clients you could ask for, they’re just amazing people, and we’re excited to get to work through their photo set in the coming weeks and see what we captured of their gorgeous Flagstaff wedding. For now, here’s a teaser (below). We always like working in ways to bring our clients something a little ‘extra,’ and for Jessica & Matt’s mountaintop wedding we decided to set up a little time lapse of the amphitheatre using one of our backup cameras set up with the ultra-wide lens on it. We wrapped it in a ziplock bag to keep it dry, anchored it down using the jazzy Manfrotto tripod, and tethered it to our intervalometer remote set to take a photo every 10 seconds. I’ve watched it about 500 times now, and I’m now playing where’s Waldo as it plays trying to track Laura and I move around during the ceremony (haha). I think my favorite parts are the rolling out of the aisle runner, watching the clouds roll & the shadows move over Boulder, and when the umbrellas come out and then go away. So cool!
