Heather & David: Day-After

Well, internet, it’s Monday morning. That means TWO things at this point:

#1) The weekend is over, and I’m a year older! A big shout out and thank you to not only all the well-wishes on Facebook and the like, but to Laura, my lovely wife, AKA Wonderwife, AKA The Duchess, AKA Beans for making it amazingly awesome. People, she took me to the aquarium, we got to do a scuba demo, we ate dinner in front of a giant aquarium full of crazy amazing looking fish staring back at us, we then went to the Rockies game, then on Sunday went for a curvalicious motorcycle ride in the mountains, hung out by a river for a while, came back, went to church, and then went for a run together to cap off the evening. Not to mention the PRESENTS!! (haha)…If you ever want advice on how to generally be amazing as a person, a wife, or a birthday extravaganza thrower, talk to The Duchess. She’s in the know.

#2) It’s time to crank some tunes to wake your groggy self up. “Monday Morning” by Fleetwood Mac might be fitting, or you could also mosey on over to iTunes and download the song that my Mom lovingly sang to us every Monday morning while I was growing up – Monday Monday, by the Mamas and the Papas. Ah, I can hear it now…Monday Monday ba da, ba da da da…

OK, back to reality. I’m not here to just blog a bunch of nonsense and have my Mom sing Monday songs. I’m here to blog photos. FOCUS!!

We’ve already told you about the two featured in today’s post, David and Heather. If you had a rough weekend and forgot about them since Friday or if you haven’t yet met them, you can scroll down about 3 feet on your screen here and see what their wedding was all about. Once you do that, scroll back up and check out the photos from their Day-After session, below. We shot it together in Rocky Mountain National Park, and boy, it was a blast. We had Dave & Heather sitting in chairs in the middle of an Aspen grove, laying in the meadow next to elk imprints in the grass, walking in the icy water, standing on bridges….Dave & Heather were stellar ‘models’ and we are in love with their Day-After photos. We might just have to print up a big canvas of some of the shots to hang in our house! We can do that, right? Heck, sure we can.

OK, enough babble rabble. Check out the photos here on the blog, and for the full slideshow of their Day-After Session click the link–> Day After Session
