Downtown Denver Wedding: Ryan & Samantha

Hey all, happy beautiful Tuesday afternoon! We are really excited to share these photos with you. I know some people have been “patiently” waiting for these to show up (ahem Chad) so hold your breath no longer, for they have arrived. This wedding, from start to finish, was such an absolute pleasure to be a part of. Sam and Ryan are completely amazing people, deeply in love with each other, and radiating love and warmth to the people around them. They treated us like old friends and we felt like we were! If you know them, you know that all this is true.

We stopped by the Curtis Hotel where Sam and her ‘maids were getting ready, then headed over to South Broadway Christian Church for the ceremony. Another thing that made this day so delightful for us was the timeline. The whole day felt relaxed, yet efficient. There was just enough–but not too much–time for everything, and the day flowed perfectly. We had enough time to capture everything, no one was ever sitting around waiting forever, and nothing was frantic. Perfect! We loved so many of the photos from this wedding, it was so hard to narrow them down for the blog. Oh, and if you’ve been reading the blog for a while, you might notice some familiar faces: Ryan is Nolan’s brother, of Nolan and Brooke! Love them!!!

Sam’s dress was absolutely gorgeous–and it was perfect for her.

Down in the “man-cave” of the church, the guys shoot the breeze…

Ceremony details…how cool are those programs?! So unique.

Such a sweet, sacred ceremony.

This is pure joy:

She is stunning! We went down to the Denver Center for Performing Arts, and I love the sky and city lights here:

We didn’t ask them to do this, it’s just that these guys HAD to DANCE, couldn’t hold it in. Totally awesome group of guys. I also love the girls watching in the background…

Over to the Curtis Hotel lobby for a few bride & groom portraits:

Then it was over to the Mile High Station for the reception. We loved this placed! Industrial, modern, elegant, funky. Probably one of our favorite reception venues that we’ve photographed!

Wow, this collage kinda speaks for itself, but…WOW. The food…beautiful AND delicious. Those little dessert cups in the middle are donuts with milk. Yes please!!!! Major props to Catering by Design.

Thank you so much Ryan and Sam…for being so amazing! We were blessed to be a part of your wedding.

Ashley - You guys continue to impress. I know there are different people in the photos each time, but your photos are SO different each + every time. There are no repeat poses/places/ideas etc. You guys are beyond creative and it is more than working for you. The bride is stunning and has some of the best most natural poses ever. You captured their LOVE in the photos…truly amazing!! xoxoReplyCancel

Chad Fletemeyer - This is a bitter sweet blog. I had made the specific request to Travis and Laura, that they provide such complete photographic coverage of this wedding that I would feel like I had actual been able to attend it personally. Well, it appears that they pretty much hit the mark. So, the problem now is that I know what I missed, and therefore feel all the more pathetic for missing such an incredible event. Clearly Sam and Ryan were in good hands and great company. One word to sum up what those images capture – “extravagant”. Well done guys.
