Weekend Update

Man-O-Man, we are slacking at this blog thing. We have some really exciting stuff coming up! A couple of weddings to show, info about our really awesome new albums, and more. We are gearing up for wedding season, and all signs point to it being really fun, crazy busy, full of new friendships and lots of wedding cake. We also look forward to improving our art and bettering ourselves as photographers this season—yeah!

On another note, we have had some gorgeous spring-like days in Boulder this week. Can’t wait for spring to arrive for real, because we almost-but not quite-got fooled that it was here. In reality it’s probably going to snow again this weekend. However, warmer weather and some GREEN are definitely around the corner, because we have a plethora of engagement sessions on the docket in the next couple months!

In other news, my (Laura’s) cousin Tom was in town this past weekend. We are real REAL excited to show you all what he’s been up to. He is a ca-razy talented artist and magician [for real–the real deal] He joined us at Ryan & Sam’s wedding [one of our favorites yet]on Saturday [not doing magic though] and we also did some shooting for fun amongst ourselves. Check out some of our handiwork:

Tom shot a mini [freezing.wet.snowy] session of us out by a creepy abandoned house on the side of the road. There was a dead cow inside the house. Did you want to know that?

We also got some snowy shots of Tom. Oh and a few other kinds of shots:

And then I sorta got tired of collage-ing the photos, so here they are individually…
Cuzins and Team 117/Fuse:

We did some practice/test shooting at the DCPA the day before Sam & Ryan’s wedding. Turned out to be an awesome spot for some bridal party photos. Here I am pondering the city lights:

Wowzas, he is handsome!:

Professionals, folks, there you have it:

That lens is too long to fit in the frame, sorry!:

I love him. I also love that light, but nearly as much:

Be careful or you’ll get swallowed up by the ginormous light-gulping piece of glass that is the 85mm 1.2:

Just doin’ his thang down on the railroad tracks:

Just, ya know, skipping and jumping next to a train and stuff:

The creative genius behind Fuse Photographic:

That’s all for now friends. We’ll be checking in again soon, so hurry on back! Happy weekend!
