Tuesday

(Post by TR)

Just thought I’d bump some Tuesday goodness with this photo. We’ve got a great post coming down the pipe soon of our recent wedding at the Phipps Mansion in Denver, which was absolutely gorgeous. Stay tuned for that, but for now….here’s a mind-boggler photo ;)

It’s weird. And I really like it.

I took it on our way back from Steamboat this past weekend. One of my favorite things to do is explore abandoned houses, and this one was pretty darn sweet. Maybe I’ll talk more about abandoned houses in the off-season and post some more photos – I’m slowly working on a lil pitcha book of how the old West is dying, depicted through my lens. I guess you could stay tuned for that. Or, you could just forget about it and then when I post something in the fall you’ll see it and be like ‘oh yeah, I was supposed to stay tuned for this or something.’

OK, sorry, it’s late and I’m starting to be let’s-come-up-with-lame-scenarios-man. Sorry about that. Enjoy the spooktastic photo, and goodnight internet.

Oh, PS, it’s not photoshopped. First person to comment and guess a)how I took it (ie what technique to get the effect), and b)why the ceiling and wall is green-tinted gets a dollar. Or a Starbucks gift card. Or the ability to ask me to do anything at all for up to 5 seconds. Your choice. GO!

Travis Ramos - TB, we'll do it up soon. We're just mad busy right now, especially with me getting ready to go to Nicaragua. Late August or early September – let's hit it then!!The photo is shot at something like 1/15th of a second and I rotated the camera on its axis, keeping the door generally in the center. The green is from the grass outside…talk soon, maybe see you Sunday.ReplyCancel
