Our Life

Raise your hand if you’ve been dying to know what we’ve been doing this spring BESIDES making photographs of beautiful people?! Anyone? Anyone? Well, our moms want to know…so that’ll do. This is a random post, so be prepared.

We’ve had long-lost friends visiting us from Georgia-Sara and Will-truly amazing people. We went to Eldorado Canyon to hike and to the Boulder farmers market among other fun adventures.

My mom had a very important birthday, so we flew home to surprise her along with my siblings. She is the best mom ever, and doesn’t she look amazing?!? The puggle is the baby of our family-she belongs to my sister and her husband, Jen and Drew. Never seen anything cuter? Me neither.

I graduated with my master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver…wahoo! My family came out to witness me dressing up in the goofy costume and to celebrate. We had a partay in the park with friends as well, which included joining a nearby drum circle, hula-hooping, eating and drinking, skateboarding, frisbee, slacklining and other such celebratory activities.

And finally, we recently took a trip to the Great Sand Dunes National Park with our friends Jared, Kristen, and Guanella. Heehee. Even though we saw at least 13 storm systems pass through the area when we were down there, and were caught in several of those, we had an awesome time. The dunes are such a peculier and beautiful landscape. We were there when Medano Creek was almost at its peak. We brought a couple sleds along, and Travis probably broke the landspeed record on one run, although he did almost break his hiney in the process.

That’s it for now, folks. Hope you were amused by this little glimpse into our lives! Happy Saturday!
