We took a wee break from the blog, but we are back! Spent a few days in Ohio with my family, which was lovely and relaxing and festive…I have a really awesome family, I must say. Our trip included:
-sprinting through the airport-LITERALLY!
-watching Christmas movie classics
-game-playing (I won)
-lounging
-bowling
-watching home movies
-ping-ponging
-emergency room-ing (ice slippage, everyone is fine)
-jogging (only once though)
-dancing wildly in the kitchen to Mariah Carey’s Christmas album (more than once)
We returned on Christmas eve and spent Christmas day with Travis’s family in Woodland Park, eating delicious food and opening presents and being cozy by the fire.
Last weekend we took off to Rocky Mountain National Park for the day, along with our good friends Matt and Emily, to do some snowshoeing. Matt and Emily are some of our oldest Boulder friends! Matt is a brilliantly talented medical student with a side of bartending, and Emily is a brilliantly talented horsewoman with a side of entrepreneurship.
