A biochemist and a brewer – does it get much more interesting than that? Whether it’s accurate or not, I imagine Jessica as some kind of superhero, wearing a sweet pair of chemistry goggles and a white lab smock during the week and then jumping on her bike to do Century rides in New Mexico on the weekends. She lives. And she loves…a certain man named Matt, to be precise, who happens to be an easygoing, fun loving brewer for Avery Brewing here in Boulder.
Sometimes I wish I could meet people and be all like “Yeah, I’m a brewer.” And they’d be like “What?” and I’d say “I brew beer, for a living,” and they’d just stand there with a blank stare for like 25 seconds imagining how cool my life is.
Anyway, back to reality. Jessica and Matt started talking to us last November about shooting their story. After meeting with us and finding out that we aren’t quite as weird as our blog sometimes makes us out to be, they decided to have us shoot their engagement and wedding. We are so glad they did!!
