Rob + Amanda | Arkansas Farm Wedding

There are perhaps few things more satisfying in life than seeing one of your dear friends find the person of their dreams.

It’s not very often your life intersects with someone who leaves an indelible impact through simply being their amazing self, and Rob is such a person. I’ve walked behind Rob as we trekked across mountains in China, I’ve ridden behind him dirtbiking across Southeast Asia, and over the years of our friendship – regardless of how often we’ve gotten to see each other – I’ve looked up to and learned from his wisdom and experience.

Oh – and here’s a little sidenote – Rob is the person who taught me how to use my first camera. Rob, I hope you see your handiwork – in at least some small way – in the photos below of you and Amanda, and everything else we shoot. And thank you for patiently teaching me about how all this works when I didn’t have a clue.

OK, back to Rob+Amanda. Amanda stepped into his life when both were on a short stint in Argentina, and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen him happier. I can’t say how much I enjoyed traveling to rural Arkansas and being there to capture their wedding. Amanda was glowing, and everything you see below – from the handmade-by-Amanda details to the gorgeous sunset ceremony to the getaway in Rob’s ’68 Firebird- was perfect for the two of them. Congrats Rob and Amanda! Hope you enjoy these.
