We have been looking forward to this wedding since last October when we first met the dynamic duo that is Damien and Amy. We shot their engagement photos in Ward, Colorado, and those photos remain some of our favorites to this day. Damien and Amy are magnetic, vibrant, effervescent humans. They are so in love. They are so warm and generous. They have lovely, spirited families and friends. And on July 31, 2010, they radiated joy as they promised to love each other forever that day – and we were there to document it. Lucky us! We were blessed.
The ceremony and reception were held at the stunning Keystone Ranch in Keystone, Colorado. The day went off without a hitch – a tenderly sweet ceremony on the lawn, a cocktail hour under a tent accompanied by a pleasant rain to cool things off, a scrumptious dinner inside the cozy lodge, and a fantastically wild night of dancing, mingling, laughing and Fusebooth-ing. :)

Damien and Amy chose to see each other before the ceremony, which gave us plenty of time to get some creative shots of the two of them. We drove a couple golf carts down to this cabin where they had their first sight! Amy was singing a song to Damien while she walked up behind him! (It was kind of a pump-up song!) :)

This was a brilliant team effort from the bridal party…first Damien gave everyone a lesson on how to do a side-heel-click (think: leprechaun-style), and then everyone gave it their all for a coordinated heel-click. Even though they weren’t perfectly synced, the result is still pretty super:
